Wow. Escribiendo esto se me paran los pelos. Este articulo en español es dedicado a un nuevo concepto llamado realidad aumentada. La realidad aumentada consiste en un conjunto de dispositivos que añaden información virtual a la información física ya existente. Esta es la principal diferencia con la realidad virtual, puesto que no sustituye la realidad física, sino que sobreimprime los datos informáticos al mundo real.Los dispositivos de Realidad aumentada normalmente constan de un "headset" y un sistema de display para mostrar al usuario la información virtual que se añade a la real. El "headset" lleva incorporado sistemas de GPS, necesarios para poder localizar con precisión la situación del usuario. También incluye sistemas inerciales y ópticos que son capaces de medir características como son la aceleración, la orientación y el ángulo de inclinación. Los dos principales sistemas de "displays" empleados son la pantalla óptica transparente (Optical See-through Display) y la pantalla de mezcla de imágenes (Video-mixed Display). Tanto uno como el otro usan imágenes virtuales que se muestran al usuario mezcladas con la realidad o bien proyectadas directamente en la pantalla.
ARToolKit Libreria GNU GPL que permite la creación de aplicaciones de realidad aumentada, desarrollado originalmente por Hirokazu Kato en 1999 y fue publicado por el HIT Lab de la Universidad de Washington. Actualmente se mantiene como un proyecto de código abierto alojado en SourceForge con licencias comerciales disponibles en ARToolWorks..

Fue Desarrollado para no-programadores, y permite crear rápidamente, pequeñas y sencillas aplicaciones de Realidad Aumentada. Está licenciado bajo la Licencia GNU GPL

En la escuela superior Dr. Santiago Veve Calzada de Fajardo Puerto Rico, hay un grupo de estudiantes de cuarto año que estan abogando para que la agrupación de música electrónica compuesto por acordes disco, y balada rock con toques de funk, techno, house y synth Daft Punk se presente en Fajardo Puerto Rico.
Daft Punk es un dúo artístico originario de París, Francia; conformado por los músicos Thomas Bangalter y Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo. El estilo de la agrupación es música electrónica compuesto por acordes disco, y balada rock con toques de funk, techno, house y synth.
Antes de llamarse Daft Punk, se llamaban Darlin, y además de Bangalter y Homem-Christo también formaba parte otro artista llamado Laurent. El primer single The New Wave (Soma con el nombre de Daft Punk 1993) fue seguido de su primer éxito comercial Da Funk parte de su álbum Homework (1997).
El dúo aparece disfrazado de robots en sus imágenes publicitarias y en sus entrevistas. El álbum Discovery se convirtió en la pista musical del filme de anime Interstella 5555, que co-produjeron con Leiji Matsumoto que vino acompañada de un álbum de remixes llamado "Daft Club".

It’s a bit funny how the people who are against net neutrality are claiming evil corporate freedom schemes, when the real corporate evil would be in keeping the internet from being free! I’m only analyzing recent history here. Still I’m very excited about FCC Chairman Genachowski’s clarity on the significance of this issue, and his apparent good intention in keeping Internet openness for the people. Still I’m curious about ISPs being allowed to “managed their networks”, and prevent “heavy users from crowding out everyone else”. I’m also curious as to whether or not the FCC will play a role in encouraging faster connection speeds. We'll see.

La combinacion de Google y codigo abierto es mortal “para la competencia”. Android se basa en kernel de Linux y ha sido desarrollado por Google y Open Handset Alliance. Google anuncio que ya han liberado el 100% del código fuente de Android. En el sitio de Android encontraran una enorme cantidad de código y instrucciones de los requerimientos, compilacion e instalacion.
Los desarrolladores pueden encontrar todo el código de Android acá. Esto incluye el núcleo de Linux, la plataforma de aplicación, el sistema de bibliotecas, de gráficos y expresión de reconocimiento de las bibliotecas, y aplicaciones como el navegador, marcador, y administrador de contactos.
Lot of people see this cloud model as the Future of computing "In theory back to the mainframe". MS Office 2010/Sharepoinrt is on it, Linux , etc. Like it or not, it will happen. Maybe not now, maybe not tomorrow, but IT will happen. We won't say good-bye to all of the peripherals (for example, Music Players), but with access to our stuff from ANYWHERE in the World we'll stop using most of them. Right now, It's not a viable option for normal users, but in the future we'll find replacements for the software we all need.
Personalmente esta es mi distribucion favorita del sistema operativo GNU/Linux, el cual posee la propuesta de "producir un escritorio elegante, actualizado, cómodo y facil de utilizar de GNU/Linux". Linux Mint está basada en Ubuntu, es compatible con ésta última y comparte los mismos repositorios. Para los usuarios principiantes en Linux esta es la distribucion a utilizar pues facilita la transicion de Microsoft a Linux.
